I am the first American to earn a doctorate on the subject of Singapore Math, and now I use that expertise to help schools overcome the challenges of modern math education. Unlike most trainers in the U.S., the original research I completed has given me a depth of background knowledge in teaching and learning of elementary mathematics. As both a national and international consultant, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of schools, from public institutions to independent academies. Over the past 15 years, I’ve seen firsthand how adopting Singapore Math can transform not only how math is taught but how it is understood by both teachers and students. Today, I continue to help educators and schools implement these programs with confidence and success, always striving to inspire lasting change in the way math is approached in the classroom.
